: Trainsquare is a web platform for in-person, hands-on group workshops.
: At Trainsquare, a workshop is: 1. In-person, meaning no online workshops! 2. Hands-on, meaning everybody gets to participate and interact. 3. Guided, meaning there is an instructor to teach and support. 4. Group, meaning at least 3 people. 5. Single-day activity, meaning there are no long-term commitments.
: Pretty much anyone! If you'd like to host a free workshop, then we simply expect to see prior experience in the field. If you'd like to host a for-profit workshop, we look for prior experience and may ask for a business license.
: We ask for proof of relevant experience.
: If you are hosting free workshops, then you most likely don't need a license. If you intend to host for-profit workshops, then you most likely need a license. It's the host's sole responsibility to ensure all legal requirements are met pertaining to the workshop activity. : We collect a flat commission rate of 10%, all inclusive.
: Trainsquare doesn't own a venue for workshops. If you need support in finding a venue, reach out to us at contact@trainsquare.io and we'll be happy to support you. If you have a venue that can be rented for workshops, please fill out this form Microsoft Form
: Yes! One of the benefits of hosting workshops through Trainsquare is we'll help in marketing!
: We offer two payout options: 1. Automatic payouts through Stripe Connect, processed within a week after a workshop. 2. Manual payouts to your local bank account, processed by the 21st of the month following the workshop.
: Trainsquare aims to support with administration, marketing, and collecting payout.
: Absolutely! We encourage hosts to offer free workshops for the community, without any charges.
